Travelling the World Leads to Questions About Bankruptcy

I have a few questions that need to be answered. It was just three months ago that I had mononucleosis, a.k.a. the kissing disease. My throat was aching, I kept on getting fevers, and the worst of it was always feeling drained no matter how much I slept. The doctor told me that it came from too much pressure. He advised that I should take a vacation from my work. So I did exactly as he said, and now I am thinking that I took it too literally. I went to the Galapagos Islands to relax and get away from all of my responsibilities. Then I visited Europe, Asia, and Egypt. I even got to see the Great Wall of China and the great pyramids of the Pharaohs. Next thing I knew I was back home in my dreary town of Louisville, Kentucky. But I felt great. I was filled with energy and free from fatigue. All that changed when I stepped into my home and opened a letter that I found lying on my floor. It read “To Mr. Jones, as of 1/20/09 you are ten thousand dollars in debt. For information about all your transactions contact the Bankruptcy Federation at…” Oh no, I am back to square one.
